The Intellectual Property (IP) & Science business of Thomson Reuters released the Journal Citation Reports (JCR)(http://www.webofknowledge.com/) in 2016. The Impact Factor of Petroleum Exploration and Development is 1.377, which is ranked fourth among all the SCI journals in the category of Petroleum Engineering.
According to statistics released by the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China in October, 2016, the 2015 impact factor of Petroleum Exploration and Development is 3.797 and has kept the first place for four consecutive years in all the Chinese scientific journals during 2012-2015.
